An evening with the Southsiders
Vancouver’s sports community doesn’t know what’s about to hit it.
The city will never be the same after the Whitecaps make their Major League Soccer debut at Empire Field on Saturday when they host Toronto FC, and not just because of the action on the pitch.
If you go to the game or watch it on TV, pay special attention to the fans in the south end of the stadium – that’s where all the magic will take place, courtesy of the Whitecaps’ oldest and largest supporter group, the Southsiders.
