Colin Miller NASL’s Youngest Player

Colin Miller was the youngest player in North American Soccer League history when he was drafted at 18 by the Toronto Blizzard in 1982. He would play for his first game for Canada’s national team at 19, then joined the Glasgow Rangers in the Scottish Premiership at 20.

He would play in 61 games for Canada, 38 of them as team captain, before becoming an assistant coach, then interim coach, for the team.

In his 18-year professional career, he also played for Doncaster Rovers, Hamilton Steelers, St Johnstone, Hearts of Midlothian and Ayr United.
