Cruzeiro Coaches Arrive In Toronto
CRUZEIRO FOOTBALL CLUB OF BRAZIL TO TRAIN AND EVALUATE PLAYERS
Three youth academy coaches from Cruzeiro FC of Brasil have arrived in Toronto to train and evaluate players for the Cruzeiro Football Club.
Sergio Moura is the Technical Co-ordinator for the Cruzeiro Club and has held similar positions with Bahia FC and Vitoria FC. Geraldo De Paula has been the Goalkeeper Coach for the U15 Academy Team for the last ten years and played as a professional goalkeeper for Botafogo FC and Goias FC. Gustavo Quentao is a staff coach within the Cruzeiro Youth Academy.
The three Brazilian coaches will be working at Bryst International’s Summer Training Camp Program for one week — July 7-11 at Centennial Park in Etobicoke.
Bryst has established a player and coaching development relationship with Cruzeiro FC, one of the top clubs of the Serie A of Brazil. Over the last two years, the Cruzeiro Youth Academy has evaluated several Bryst players.
Last August, Bryst sent a U17 boys team to Cruzeiro FC.
Adam Hintz, Maanu Gill, Tyler Van Uden, Max Materne, Chris Puckett and Nick Lobraico of Bryst were identified after last year’s trip to Brazil. Materne has since gone back for additional training and is presently at Goias FC.
