CSA Beefs Up Front Office Development
OTTAWA, ON – The Canadian Soccer Association has added two new staff members to its offices. Ms. Sandra Gage has been hired to the position of Director, Business Development while Ms. Sylvie Béliveau to the position of Long-Term Player Development Manager.
Ms. Gage is a marketing and communications specialist with over seventeen years experience in the Canadian sport system. Her previous positions include Director, Marketing and Communications for Coaching Association of Canada, Executive Director of Partnership Development with Esteem Team Association, and Director, Corporate Partnerships with Skate Canada. In her new role with the Canadian Soccer Association, she will be responsible for the overall direction of marketing, sponsorship and communications activities within the organization.
Ms. Béliveau is a long-time soccer coach and member of numerous technical committees. She was of course Canada ’s coach at the FIFA Women’s World Cup Sweden 1995, Canada ’s first entry at a FIFA Women’s World Cup. She serves as a member of the FIFA Technical and Development Committee and is an honoured member of Canada ’s The Soccer Hall of Fame. In her new role with the Canadian Soccer Association, she will be responsible for implementing the Association’s Wellness to World Cup long-term player development program.
