2012 MLS Expansion Draft: The best of what’s left
Major League Soccer’s annual tradition of dumping a 500-piece box of Legos on top of fans’ heads and telling them to make something of it (I refer, of course, to the MLS Expansion Draft) is well on its way once again! This time, the lucky expansion side is the Montreal Impact, another Canadian team making their way to the big leagues.



As Don Garber sits behind his fancy mahogany desk and laughs at the fan’s collective “Um…I pick…”s, only one writer can sift through the overwhelming number of names and say, definitively, who Montreal should select – so, RedNationOnline readers, I apologize, because that writer is on holiday!



However, I’ll take my best stab at it, see what comes up from the list of names, with the hopes that Montreal Impact staff read this piece and select my chosen players, simply to validate my decisions. Here we go, the Montreal Impacts Player Selection Prediction for 2011:
