Mitchell Sees First Win

Canada defeats Martinique 1:0
Canada picked up it’s first win under head coach Dale Mitchell defeating Martinique 1-0 on Wednesday. This was Mitchell’s fourth game at the helm of Canada. In the previous games under Mitchell, Canada had two ties and a loss.

Dwanye De Rosario continued his hot hand, scoring at the 25th minute mark for the only goal of the match. De Rosario scored his 13th career goal for Canada to move into fourth place overall — ahead of Igor vrablic.

The win over Martinique doesn’t help Canada in the FIFA rankings.
