CARSON, CA — Atiba Harris scored a goal in the 68th minute and Chivas USA beat FC Dallas for the second time this season, 2-0 on Saturday evening at The Home Depot Center. Alecko Eskandarian added an insurance goal in stoppage time on a breakaway as the Red-and-White improved to 5-1-1 on the season.

SEATTLE, WA — Rookie Steve Zakuani, in just his third start, provided a goal and an assist as Seattle Sounders FC returned to their winning ways, earning a 2-0 victory against the San Jose Earthquakes at Qwest Field. With 12 points in six matches, Seattle remains four points behind league-leading Chivas USA in the Western Conference.
