CARSON, CA — After a defensive mistake by veteran Tony Sanneh appeared to be leading the Los Angeles Galaxy to their first loss in more than a month, veteran Eddie Lewis responded with a late goal for a 1-1 tie against the Columbus Crew on Sunday afternoon.

FOXBOROUGH, MA — The New England Revolution extended their winless streak to five matches as a determined Colorado Rapids earned a 1-1 draw at Gillette Stadium on Saturday night.

Conor Casey opened scoring in the third minute after Jordan Harvey flighted in a cross from the left side. Steve Ralston equalized from the penalty spot in the 18th minute after Ugo Ihemelu scissored the Revolution striker to the ground.

FRISCO, TX — Seattle Sounders FC left Pizza Hut Park knowing Saturday’s 1-1 draw with FC Dallas was one that got away. After Jhon Kennedy Hurtado’s first-half goal put the expansion side ahead, Seattle didn’t convert on several chances at close range and left the door open for FC Dallas. Just before the half, FCD’s Andre Rocha converted to draw things level.
