MLS 2010: Week 17 Recap
Toronto 1 Dallas 1
TORONTO, ON – Maicon Santos and Milton Rodriguez exchanged goals in the second half as Toronto FC and FC Dallas drew 1-1 Saturday to keep both teams’ streaks intact.
Something had to give with both sides sporting streaks. However, the result extended Toronto’s unbeaten run at home to nine games while extending Dallas’ record of undefeated games on the road to seven.
Maicon Santos gave Toronto the lead in the 61st minute before Milton Rodriguez tied the game in the 77th minute.
With the draw, Toronto improved to 23 points, but more importantly they moved out of the precarious eighth playoff seed and into a tie for sixth with Colorado and San Jose.

SEATTLE, WA – Midfielder Steve Zakuani scored two goals as the Seattle Sounders earned a 2-1 over the Colorado Rapids, their first victory this season against a Western Conference foe.

SANDY, UT – Captain Kyle Beckerman’s return from injury wasn’t quite enough to propel host Real Salt Lake to a win on Saturday night, as Chivas USA salvaged a 1-1 draw in a battle between the Western Conference foes at Rio Tinto Stadium.

COLUMBUS, OH – Emilio Renteria capitalized on an error by backup goalkeeper Tally Hall in the first half and the Crew took advantage of the short-handed Houston Dynamo for two late scores in a comfortable 3-0 victory on Saturday at Crew Stadium.
Los Angele 2 San Jose 2
CARSON, CA – The California Clasico received a full revival on Thursday night, as longtime rivals San Jose and Los Angeles dropped their gloves and had an old-fashioned brawl, exchanging early and late blows in a 2-2 draw before at the Home Depot Center.
