CARSON, CA — The LA Galaxy will get to enjoy some home cooking at MLS Cup 2011.

Mike Magee and Robbie Keane scored second-half goals to lift LA to a 3-1 win over Real Salt Lake in the Western Conference Championship at the Home Depot Center on Sunday, sending the Galaxy through to the title match on their own turf.

KANSAS CITY, KA – Houston lost MVP candidate Brad Davis to injury in the first half, but it didn’t matter one bit. The Dynamo are going to Los Angeles.

Andre Hainault and Carlo Costly each scored in the second half as the Houston Dynamo defeated Sporting Kansas City 2-0 in front of a sellout crowd at Livestrong Sporting Park in the Eastern Conference Championship to advance to MLS Cup.

CARSON, CA – Mike Magee and Landon Donovan answered Luke Rodgers’ early tally as the LA Galaxy beat the New York Red Bulls 2-1 in the second leg of their Western Conference Semifinal on Thursday night at The Home Depot Center.

On the strength of a 3-1 aggregate victory, the Galaxy advance to host Sunday’s Western Conference Championship against Real Salt Lake.

HOUSTON, TX – Brian Ching knows, perhaps better than any other member of the Houston Dynamo, knows what it takes to get a big goal when the club needs it most.

In the second leg of the Eastern Conference Semifinals against the Philadelphia Union om Thursday night, Ching struck the lone goal to give Houston the win and seal their passage to the Conference Championship for the fourth time in six years. In the final reckoning, the Dynamo beat the Union, 3-1 on aggregate, and now move on to face Sporting Kansas City on Sunday at Livestrong Sporting Park.

Seattle 2 Real Salt Lake 0
SEATTLE, WA – With second-half goals from Osvaldo Alonso and Lamar Neagle, the Seattle Sounders nearly pulled off the impossible at CenturyLink Field on Wednesday night in a frantic attempt to overturn a 3-0 first-leg deficit. But in the end, the all-important third didn’t arrive.

And despite the 2-0 second-leg loss, Real Salt Lake side held on for a 3-2 aggregate victory and advance to Sunday’s Western Conference Championship.

KANSAS CITY, KA – Graham Zusi free kicks found the head of Aurélien Collin and C.J. Sapong on either side of halftime as Sporting Kansas City defeated the Colorado Rapids 2-0 on Wednesday night at Livestrong Sporting Park to advance to the Eastern Conference finals by an aggregate score of 4-0.

Kansas City’s victory in front of a sellout crowd of 18,565 means they’ll move on to face the winner of Houston Dynamo vs. Philadelphia Union on Sunday, Nov. 6, at Livestrong Sporting Park for the opportunity to go to MLS Cup.
