This was a busy week for Canadian players in Holland as the Dutch teams all played two games. In England, FA Cup action saw three teams with Canadians (Stalteri, Edgar and Begovic) dress. Unfortunatley none of the Canadians played. The only goal scorers for Canada this week were Tomasz Radzinski and Simeon Jackson.

The European transfer window closes this Friday. So far, the only Canadian to be transferred was Lars Hirshfield. He left Copenhagen for Romania.

Paul Stalteri could use a career boost. Tottenham has given him little playing time. Germany, where Stalteri has already had success would be a preferred move.
