My Mom
“My Mom threw me in AYSO. The city I grew up in in Southern California had the Irvine Soccer Club. I played that for five years. Soccer is probably my best sport. In California, soccer and basketball are the same seasons. They’re both a fall sport. I had to choose one or the other. I was really tall and went with basketball. That’s one of my big sports regrets.”
