The NASL sported five Canadian franchises over its history.
- Toronto – Falcons, Metros, Metros-Croatia, and Blizzard
- Montreal – Olympique, Manic
- Vancouver – Royals and Whitecaps
- Edmonton Drillers
- Calgary Boomers
» The Toronto Metros-Croatia won the championship in 1976 and the Vancouver Whitecaps in 1979.
» The Toronto Blizzard were defeated in the final in 1983 and 1984.
