The NASL sported five Canadian franchises over its history.

  • Toronto – Falcons, Metros, Metros-Croatia, and Blizzard
  • Montreal – Olympique, Manic
  • Vancouver – Royals and Whitecaps
  • Edmonton Drillers
  • Calgary Boomers

» The Toronto Metros-Croatia won the championship in 1976 and the Vancouver Whitecaps in 1979.
» The Toronto Blizzard were defeated in the final in 1983 and 1984.
