Olympic setback no blight on Pellerud
This week has been a deeply disappointing one for Canadian international soccer.
Our women ran themselves ragged in a lost cause against the United States at the Olympics. Our men gave away two precious World Cup qualifying points because they couldn’t weasel their way past a packed Jamaican defence in Toronto.
So, no Olympic medal and a severe dent in our World Cup aspirations.
