CHESTER, PA — Choosing the first 10 players for an expansion club in Major League Soccer is clearly a gargantuan task.
Just ask Philadelphia Union team manager Peter Nowak.
“I think it was about 5 am when we finished,” Nowak said as he refilled his coffee cup at Union headquarters Wednesday afternoon.
Makes sense. It’s anything but easy to build a team from scratch.
