The Lady Lynx, playing their second road game in less than 24 hours, could not overcome the quick start by their hosts and lost their second consecutive match.

The loss drops the Lady Lynx’ record to an even 2-2-2 (8 points) on the season, and the team falls into fourth place in the Great Lakes Division. Quebec City leapfrogs the Lady Lynx into third place in the division, and raise their record to 3-1-0 (9 points) in their expansion year.

The Lady Lynx’ road trip continues next weekend with a trip to Buffalo to tackle the expansion Flash, who sit tied with Ottawa atop the Great Lakes Division. The Lady Lynx will look to earn their first road win of the season in the match, which is scheduled for 3:00 PM on Sunday afternoon, June 14 at Orchard Park High School.

The team will then travel to Hamilton for a midweek clash against the Lady Avalanche on June 17.
