It’s time for the players to prove that the team that delivered one poor result here in Panama is an aberration and the one that’s been the better squad in the three previous games is the real team Canada.
The players are aware as anyone that Canada’s fate when it comes to advancing to “The Hex” could well hang on what kind of result they’re able to take into Panama after Friday’s game.
Make no mistake, despite being just one spot below Canada in the FIFA ranks this was a very poor Trinidad side that was disorganized at the back and had little going forward.
It’s an election that will affect millions of Canadians and, fittingly enough, it takes place in Ottawa – Canada’s capital and center of the national government.
