None of this is rocket science. But it’s also not open for debate: if you try to give your customers “half” the equation: i.e. cheap tickets, but soccer on a gridiron lines, you’ll fail.

The U.S. Soccer Board of Directors voted unanimously to not sanction either the USL or the NASL to operate a Division II professional league in 2010.

Florida court documents indicate that the United Soccer Leagues have sued the Rochester Rhinos. Also filed were lawsuits against prospective USL-1 clubs in Tampa Bay and Baltimore.

Real trouble could begin next weekend when the soccer federation meets in Seattle while the USL holds its AGM in Tampa, Florida.
