The official Host Cities for the FIFA Women’s World Cup Canada 2015 were announced at a media conference held on Parliament Hill in Ottawa in the presence of the Honourable Bal Gosal, Minister of State (Sport), FIFA President Joseph S. Blatter and Canadian Soccer Association President Dr Dominique Maestracci.
Canada will face Japan, South Africa and Sweden at the London 2012 Women’s Olympic Football Tournament this July in Coventry and Newcastle. Canada to kick off London 2012 against champion Japan.

Substitute Robyn Gayle scored an injury time winner late in the second half to give Canada the win in a game that looked destined to end in a stalemate.
