Victoria United FC

Victoria United is the name of teams organized by the Victoria United Soccer Association. This not for profit society is made up of supporters of the beautiful game from all around the Capital Regional District and Southern Vancouver Island. These supporters are United in a desire to provide local fans and players the most competitive and entertaining soccer possible.

A Century of Being United
Today’s Victoria United traces it lineage back to the team with the same name that was formed in 1904 when the Victoria Association Football Club (who had also gone by the name Wanderers) and the Victoria Capitals, merged into one team.

This is in fact a legitimate continuation from the earliest beginnings of soccer on Vancouver Island. Victoria United honours its shared heritage with the name and at the same time celebrates the modern team that brings together players from local clubs, college and University sides into a single team representing its community.
