The problem for TFC fans hoping for future success is Johnston has become an obsessive tinkerer with the squad, without any clear rhyme or reason. That TFC has positional imbalance, even to the layperson, is confirmation of the point and shows a lack of vision for on-field building of a soccer team.
Meanwhile, when many players from TFC move on to significant success elsewhere, it just highlights the inexperience of Johnston’s management.
